Our Speaker is Ed Noh, Director of Hawaii Public Charter Schools. Ed will present an overview of the mission of Hawaii Charter Schools. A charter school in Hawaii is a tuition-free, publicly funded school that operates with more freedom than a normal public school. It is run by its own local board and follows a special contract instead of standard district rules. Ed will elaborate on the differences and how Charter Schools work. |
